We were delighted to be invited to the BBC Make a Difference Awards in Hereford, with our Community Projects Co-ordinator, Carolyn, and Community Projects Volunteer, Carole, attending on behalf of Lyppard Hub.

The BBC Make a Difference Awards celebrate the truly inspiring people, volunteers and organisations across Herefordshire and Worcestershire who go above and beyond to make a positive difference in their communities.

It was a real pleasure to meet so many wonderful people who dedicate their time, energy and passion to helping make their communities better places to live. It was particularly lovely to see their hard work and commitment recognised and celebrated.

From volunteers giving their time to support others, to organisations making a lasting difference in their local areas, the evening was a wonderful reminder of just how many amazing people are working behind the scenes to strengthen and support our communities.

It was a fantastic evening and a privilege for Lyppard Hub to be part of it.

We’d like to congratulate everyone who was nominated and recognised for the incredible work they do – you truly are making a difference!

Launched this June, Friday Fellas is a relaxed, welcoming space where you can enjoy a hot drink and a bacon roll, catch up with others, and take part in a range of activities including pool, snooker, table tennis, darts, dominoes, chess and cards. Whether you fancy a game or just a good chat, there’s always a seat at the table.
