A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 24th September. 

The turnout was incredible, and thanks to the generosity of our wonderful community, we sold over 200 slices of cake and raised an amazing £553 for Macmillan Cancer Support! 

We are absolutely thrilled to have beaten last year’s total. This fantastic achievement is a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together to support an important cause.

And, of course, a huge thank you to all the talented bakers who filled our tables with such a fantastic selection of delicious homemade cakes. We certainly had plenty to tempt everyone! 😋

Most importantly, thank you to our amazing community. Your generosity and support will help Macmillan continue to be there for people living with cancer and their families when they need it most.

We were delighted to be invited to the BBC Make a Difference Awards in Hereford, with our Community Projects Co-ordinator, Carolyn, and Community Projects Volunteer, Carole, attending on behalf of Lyppard Hub.

The BBC Make a Difference Awards celebrate the truly inspiring people, volunteers and organisations across Herefordshire and Worcestershire who go above and beyond to make a positive difference in their communities.

It was a real pleasure to meet so many wonderful people who dedicate their time, energy and passion to helping make their communities better places to live. It was particularly lovely to see their hard work and commitment recognised and celebrated.

From volunteers giving their time to support others, to organisations making a lasting difference in their local areas, the evening was a wonderful reminder of just how many amazing people are working behind the scenes to strengthen and support our communities.

It was a fantastic evening and a privilege for Lyppard Hub to be part of it.

We’d like to congratulate everyone who was nominated and recognised for the incredible work they do – you truly are making a difference!
