Support Through Loss
The Bereavement Café at Lyppard Hub offers a safe and welcoming space for people who have been bereaved to connect with others who understand their experiences.
It encourages sharing, listening and mutual support, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and providing comfort during a difficult time.
What happens during the Café?
Most of the time is spent chatting over a coffee and taking the time to get to know others who have been bereaved. Our staff and volunteers are also available to chat and provide support. For approximately the last half hour of the session we will provide the option to chat as a bigger group about a particular topic relating to grief and loss, or to stay chatting as individuals if you prefer.
Run in partnership with St Nicholas Church, Warndon, the café is held on the 2nd Friday of each month 10.30am-12noon.
All are welcome, regardless of whether your loss was recent or a long time ago.

Bereavement Journey Course
Alongside the café, we occasionally run a Bereavement Journey course, to support anyone struggling with the effects of loss.
The Bereavement Journey® is an award-winning* series of films and discussion that gently guides adults bereaved at any time, through the varied ways grief and bereavement can impact, enabling them to process the implications for themselves and discern next steps.
